We've had a little bit of a slow start, but the word is getting out.
This week is National Fire Prevention Week and our local Fire Department was out for an evening of fun, games, and education. In addition we had a lot of new vendors this week and were able to spread out to a full two blocks. Some of the new vendors included farm grown pumpkins, antiques and collectibles, hand crafted bath and body products, and sidewalk sales.

October 21st- Scarecrow Contest- bring your decorated scarecrow and enjoy the fun.
October 28Th- Hazel Street Halloween Alley- come in costume, bring the kids, and get some candy.
Applications are ready for the upcoming Christmas Faire. This year the faire will be held in conjunction with Breakfast with Santa. The recreation department does an outstanding job every year with breakfast, crafts, games and of course Santa. The number of vendors is rapidly increasing and this year the Gridley Lioness Club will have lunch. For booth information contact Jerry at 530/846.6611 or 530/846.3687.
